Pallet-Track shareholder member ELB Partners Ltd wins the FORS Silver award for the installation to their fleet of an ultrasonic detection and warning system which will alert the driver of potential danger.
An audible warning informs the driver of the distance between vehicle and obstacle, minimising both vehicle damage and collisions with pedestrians, cyclists or objects, it is 4 way camera and telematics system that provides the driver with a host of benefits from helping to reverse safely to improving nearside blind spot awareness.
Transport for London (TFL) have granted ELB Partners Ltd the prestigious silver grading which recognises the huge effort that they have put into not only improving their fleet but also highlighting dangers of nearside blind spot awareness and how to improve safety to all road users particularly relevant where cyclists and pedestrians can otherwise go unseen.
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accreditation scheme that aims to improve fleet activity in London and throughout the UK and beyond.
